Charly Lamm, the team manager for the 1999 Le Mans Winning Team BMW Motorsport says:
"We operated with RaceMet Radar Systems for the first
time at the 1997 Le Mans 24 hour race which for our team
BMW Motorsport
was experimental. RaceMet was a newway forward for a team manager to know about the factual
weather information that will affect his race plan and strategy,
and for us we were very pleased with the co-operation and
information which helped us to a podium finish. In the 1999
race for me it was fantastic to renew our co-operation with
